Greenville Country Club Riverside Course

The Riverside Course at Greenville Country Club is the club’s original layout, playing 6,722 yards along the Reedy River in the heart of Greenville. The par 72 design follows the river’s path through a canopy of old-growth hardwoods and towering pines, with the waterway creating natural boundaries and hazards on multiple holes. The terrain has gentle Piedmont rolls that make for varied lies and interesting approach angles.

This is the historic campus of one of Greenville’s oldest private clubs, located on Byrd Boulevard near the city center. The club includes a driving range and full practice facilities. With Greenville’s downtown revival drawing national attention over the past two decades, the Riverside Course occupies increasingly valuable real estate while maintaining its traditional character as a walkable, tree-shaded course in the middle of a growing city.
