Moss Creek

Moss Creek measures 6,885 yards through a gated residential community on the north end of Hilton Head Island. The par 72 layout features two distinct nines: the Devil’s Elbow North and South courses that wind through maritime forest, salt marsh, and tidal creeks. Live oaks and Spanish moss create canopied fairways, and the marsh-bordered holes provide both visual drama and serious hazards for errant shots.

The club is private with luxury pricing and has a driving range. Moss Creek is one of the older plantation communities on Hilton Head, and its location near the island’s entrance gives residents convenient access without the traffic of the mid-island resort areas. The community has two 18-hole courses, and the membership base is primarily retirees and second-home owners drawn to Hilton Head’s year-round climate and Lowcountry lifestyle.
