Oconee Country Club

Oconee Country Club plays 6,007 yards on Richland Road in Seneca, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The par 71 layout features rolling terrain with mature hardwoods and pines, and the shorter yardage reflects a design era when courses were built to fit the natural land rather than stretched to maximum length. Several holes have views of the surrounding ridgelines, and creeks crossing the property add water to a few key holes.

The club operates at economy pricing and has a driving range. Seneca is the commercial center of Oconee County, near Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell. The course draws members from Seneca, Clemson, and the surrounding lake communities. The area’s mountain-foothills climate brings cooler summer temperatures than the Lowcountry or Midlands, and the club has a loyal base of retirees and lake-area residents who play year-round in this northwest corner of the state.
