Secession Golf Club

Secession Golf Club plays 7,035 yards from the back tees on a par-72 layout in Beaufort. The course is set on a former Sea Island cotton plantation, with ancient live oaks, salt marsh borders, and tidal creeks defining the playing corridors. The design uses the natural Lowcountry terrain to create strategic risk-reward decisions on several holes. A driving range is on site.

The club takes its name from the Secession House in Beaufort, a reference to the area’s Civil War history. Beaufort is one of the oldest towns in South Carolina, with a preserved antebellum downtown on the waterfront.
