The Links At Stoney Point

The Links at Stoney Point covers 6,740 yards of Piedmont terrain outside Greenwood. The par 72 layout features rolling hills, mature hardwoods, and a few creek crossings that add challenge without overwhelming average players. The “links” label is a misnomer in the traditional sense, as the course has plenty of trees, but the relatively open fairways and mounded greens give it a different feel from the tighter woodland courses nearby.

Greenwood is a small city in the Lakelands region of South Carolina, about an hour west of Columbia. The course has a driving range, and green fees are standard. Along with Greenwood Country Club, Stoney Point gives the area a solid pair of 18-hole options for golfers who do not want to drive to the Upstate or Midlands metro areas.
