The Plantation Course At Edisto

The Plantation Course at Edisto plays 6,130 yards through maritime forest and marsh on Edisto Island. The par 70 layout is shorter than many coastal courses, and the tight fairways lined with live oaks and palmetto palms put a premium on accuracy. Several holes border tidal creeks where the marsh grass and mud flats are in full view. There is no driving range on site.

Edisto Island is one of the few developed sea islands south of Charleston that has avoided large-scale resort development, keeping a quieter, more residential character. The course has luxury pricing and is the only 18-hole layout on the island. Golfers staying at Edisto Beach or in the nearby rental properties use it as the sole full-course option without driving to Kiawah or Seabrook.
