The Reserve Golf Club

The Reserve Golf Club plays 7,151 yards along Reserve Drive on the Waccamaw Neck south of Myrtle Beach. The par 72 layout passes through former rice plantation land where live oaks and freshwater lagoons define the holes. The length from the back tees tests strong players, while waste areas and marsh borders mean that errant drives often end up in trouble rather than rough.

Pawleys Island is the quieter southern end of the Grand Strand, with a handful of notable courses concentrated along a narrow strip between the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Green fees are premium, and the club has a driving range. The Reserve is part of a cluster of courses that includes Willbrook Plantation, Caledonia, and True Blue, making this stretch one of the densest corridors of quality golf in the state.
