Wedgefield Country Club

Wedgefield Country Club plays 7,072 yards through a residential plantation community west of Georgetown. The par 72 course follows old rice field boundaries, with live oaks and tidal marsh shaping many of the holes. The flat Lowcountry terrain is typical of the area, and the generous length from the back tees gives low-handicap players a thorough test.

Georgetown is a historic port city at the confluence of five rivers, about 30 miles south of Myrtle Beach. Green fees are in the premium range, and a driving range is available. Wedgefield sits along the Black River system, and its plantation setting connects it to the same rice-growing history that defines courses like Caledonia and True Blue to the north on the Waccamaw Neck.
