Rapid City Elks Golf Course

Rapid City Elks Golf Course is an 18-hole public layout on the east side of Rapid City. Despite the Elks Lodge affiliation, you do not need to be a member to play. The course runs through a valley with the front nine winding alongside a creek and the back nine moving through wetland preserves. At 6,126 yards and par 71, it plays shorter than many 18-hole courses but demands accuracy around water and natural areas.

The facility includes a driving range, putting green, pro shop, and a clubhouse lounge. Green fees run $45 for nine holes and $65 for 18, with cart fees extra. The course offers a different experience from the hillier Black Hills layouts nearby, trading elevation changes for water hazards and tree-lined corridors. It is a popular choice for Rapid City locals looking for a walkable, scenic round.
