April Sound Country Club

April Sound Country Club is an 18-hole, par-71 course measuring 6,207 yards with a driving range on the property. The layout is in the Lake Conroe area north of Houston, where pine and hardwood trees frame the fairways on terrain that is generally flat with gentle contours typical of the upper Gulf Coast plain. At just over 6,200 yards, the course plays shorter than many 18-hole layouts, putting a premium on accuracy over raw distance.

The club is in Montgomery, a community popular with Houston-area retirees and second-home owners drawn to Lake Conroe. Premium pricing reflects the country club setting. Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club and Bentwater Yacht & Country Club are among several other courses in the immediate area, giving Lake Conroe one of the higher concentrations of golf in the greater Houston region.
