Howling Trails Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 layout stretching 6,626 yards across the flat terrain of the Rio Grande Valley. There is no driving range on site. The subtropical climate in this part of South Texas supports warm-weather turf and allows play throughout the year, with mild winters being the peak season for golf in the Valley.

Economy pricing makes it one of the more affordable full-length options in the region, alongside nearby Champion Lakes Golf Course in McAllen.
