La Cantera Golf Club Palmer Course

The Palmer Course at La Cantera Golf Club plays 18 holes at par 71, stretching 6,926 yards. A driving range is on site. The course is located in northwest San Antonio on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, where limestone outcroppings, elevation changes, and live oaks define the terrain. The “cantera” name refers to the quarry-like stone that characterizes the landscape.

This elite-priced course sits near the La Cantera Resort area and is one of two courses at the club, alongside the Resort Course. Cedar Creek Golf Course and The Dominion Country Club are also in the vicinity. The Palmer Course draws golfers seeking a high-end Hill Country experience within San Antonio’s city limits, with the natural topography providing much of the challenge.
