Lockhart State Park Golf Course

Lockhart State Park Golf Course is a 9-hole, par-35 layout playing 2,989 yards inside a Texas state park. There is no driving range on site. The course occupies a section of Lockhart State Park where the terrain transitions from flat blackland prairie to the first rolling hills of the Edwards Plateau, with native trees and creek features shaping the holes.

Lockhart is a small city about 30 miles south of Austin, known for its barbecue tradition. Economy-level fees keep the course extremely affordable, and the state park setting adds hiking, swimming, and other outdoor activities alongside the golf. Plum Creek Golf Course in nearby Kyle is the closest full-length alternative.
