About This Course

Lee’s Hill Golf Club opened in fall 1993 in Fredericksburg on land where General Robert E. Lee’s troops camped during the winter of 1862. The par-72 course plays 6,834 yards from the tips and weaves through terrain with direct connections to the Civil War. Historical trenches remain near the 13th tee, General Lee’s headquarters site is near the sixth tee, and Stonewall Jackson’s headquarters location sits by the eighth tee. The course was among the first upscale daily-fee options in the Northern Virginia corridor.

A driving range and practice area serve the facility. Lee’s Hill has developed a steady following among golfers in the Fredericksburg area and commuters between Richmond and Washington, D.C. The rolling terrain and historical markers add a dimension you won’t find on most Virginia courses, and the layout rewards solid course management over raw power.
