Nottoway River Country Club

Nottoway River Country Club is a private nine-hole course just outside Blackstone in Nottoway County. The par-36 layout plays 2,968 yards and takes its name from the Nottoway River that runs through this part of Virginia’s Southside region. The club has operated since the 1960s and provides the primary golf option for the Blackstone community, which is also home to the Virginia National Guard’s Fort Barfoot training center.

Beyond golf, the club offers a swimming pool, tennis courts, pickleball, and a clubhouse for dining and social events. There is no driving range on the property. Nottoway River CC functions as a full-service small-town country club, serving members from Blackstone, Crewe, and the surrounding rural communities of Nottoway and Lunenburg counties.
