About This Course

Seattle Golf Club was incorporated on August 8, 1900, making it one of the oldest golf clubs in the Pacific Northwest. The club traces its roots to 1896, when golf enthusiasts began playing in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. It was one of six founding members of the Pacific Northwest Golf Association in 1899. In 1908, the club moved to its current location on about 150 acres in Shoreline, just north of Seattle’s city limits.

The 18-hole course plays 6,800 yards at par 72. Membership is by invitation only, and the club is strictly a golf club with no tennis courts, swimming pool, or billiard room. Judge Thomas Burke served as the club’s first president, and founding members included prominent Seattle attorneys and businessmen. A driving range and practice facilities are available to members.
